Whitefeather Plan #2

A new plan is being drafted to help create more jobs and
opportunities for the people of Pikangikum First Nation.
The Whitefeater Forest Planning Initiative is underway thanks to an
additional $196,000 commitment from the Federal Government.
Kenora Mp Roger Valley says the First Nation is already reaping the
benefits.

The initiative is directed at creating tourism, recreation, mineral
and forestry opportunities while protecting First Nation land.
