Police are investigating the death of a three year old boy on the Whitefish Bay First Nation.
Treaty Three Police say Malcolm Jack was initially transported to Lake of the Woods District Hospital on Monday in a “distressed state”.
He was later transferred to the Winnipeg Health Sciences Center, but passed away there yesterday.
A post-mortem exam will take place today at the Health Sciences Center to determine the cause of death.
The Northwest Criminal Investigations Branch has also been called in to help out with the investgiation.
