Whitefish Bay woman faces impaired driving charges

Ontario Provincial Police have arrested and charged a 20 year old woman following an investigation into a stolen vehicle.

Police say on Sunday afternoon around 5 o’clock, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle traveling from the Whitefish Bay First Nation to Kenora.

The vehicle was located in Kenora and a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver faces three charges, including impaired driving and driving without a licence.

She was released from custody and will appear in Kenora Court on September 11 to face the charges.
