The Northwestern Health Unit’s Hike it or Bike it Challenge has come to an end and the winners have been determined.
The contest encouraged participants to park the car and walk, bike, run or roll during the month of June.
The Unit says they were surprised by the outcome as more than 600 people took part in the challenge in 2017!
The five lucky bike winners were Kyra Visitor, Wendy Bouchard, Haley Buckler, Nicole Martin and Addy Greer.
Group prizes went to Breach for the Stars, Kenora-Rainy River District Child and Family Services and Northern Sun News.
Finally the individual prize winners were Jen van Zwol, Patricia Windover, Lori Germain Crowe and Shirley Murray.
