Winning Weekend for Dryden Clubs

The Dryden Ice Dogs have moved into third place in the SIJHL standings
after a successful homestand on the weekend.
Goals by Marlon Gardner, Trevor Lind and Bryant Nicholls propelled
Dryden to a 3-2 win over Marathon Sunday at the ‘Dog Pound’.
Graeme Harrington made 30-saves to pick up the victory.
Saturday night, the Ice Dogs scored 5 times in the third en route to a
6-1 win.
Dryden is now 3-points up on the Thunder Bay Bearcats for third spot.
In other local sports, the Dryden Eagles defeated the Thomas Aquinas
Saints in a Senior Girls Volleyball exhibition game Sunday.
