Winnipeg Man Dies in Single Vehicle Crash

One person is dead following a single vehicle crash on Highway 17, between Vermilion Bay and Kenora.
The crash was reported Sunday morning around 10 o’clock just east of the Highway 71 junction.
OPP say a westbound transport failed to negotiate a corner and struck a rock cut.
Police say an unidentified 64-year-old man from Winnipeg died as a result of the crash.
The collision closed the Trans-Canada for most of the day.
