One person is dead following a collision between Ignace and Upsala over the weekend.
The OPP say the accident took place about two kilometers east of English River Saturday morning around 10:30 and involved two semi tractor-trailer units.
A 23 year old man from Winnipeg was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was closed for almost eight hours before one lane was opened and over eleven hours before both lanes were open to traffic.
Anyone who has information or dashcam footage of the collision is asked to contact the Thunder Bay Detachment of the OPP.
