Winnipeg Police have made an arrest following a disturbing discovery.
Constable Eric Hofley says 40-year-old Andrea Giesbrecht has been arrested after 6 dead infants were found inside a storage locker Monday afternoon.
Hofley says Giesbrecht has been charged with 6 counts of concealing the body of a child and breach of probation.
She was tracked down as the contract holder for the storage locker.
Hofley adds that a forensic investigation is underway to identify the bodies of the infants as well as to try to determine the cause of death. Polic say the full investigation could take months.
Giesbrecht, also known as Anndrea Naworyski, is being held in custody.
