Winnipeg Team Wins Northern Shield

The Kelvin Clippers won the 7th Annual Northern Shield Girls High School Hockey Classic in Dryden over the weekend.
The Clippers scored with under 2-minutes left to go to beat Fort Frances in the Gold medal Game.
Dryden won the consolation final with a shootout win against Kenora.
Kelsey Fuerst stopped 4 of 5 shots, while Amy Hale and Kyley Engstrom scored in the shootout.
The Eagles only loss of the Tournament came in the Semi-Final against the Champion Clippers.
