The Ministry of Natural Resources is preparing for what
could be a busy and early fire season.
Information Officer Debbie Mclean says they’ve started
to monitor snow levels in the region.

Mclean adds residents are being urged to use caution
when burning on area lakes.
She notes just because there’s snow on the ground,
doesn’t mean you no longer need to properly put out the
fire.
