Winter Road Funding for 2010-2011

The Provincial Government has rolled out this year’s funding for the Northern Ontario winter road network.
The budget allotment is coming in at $4.5-million.
The winter roads link 31-communities in the Far North and spans over 3,000-kilometres.
Minister of Northern Development Michael Gravelle says they are working with the Feds to move some of the roads to higher ground in order to extend the season.
