One of the Republican presidential candidates in the U.S. believes building a wall between Canada and the U.S. is a legitimate issue that needs review.
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker made the comment in an interview for NBC’s Meet the Press.
Walker says it’s about securing the Homeland and making sure the intelligence community has the ability for counter-terrorism.
He says the idea of a wall was raised in New Hampshire, including from some in law enforcement.
Back in 2006, the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee looked and later scrapped a plan for a wall.
