A hunting trip in the Kenora district has ended up costing a Wisconsin man.
Brian Bates of Hortonville has been fined $3,000 for discharging a firearm without due care for people and property.
Court heard that last October, Bates was standing on Cedar Narrows Road when he shot down the roadway at a bull moose.
He has been banned from hunting in Ontario for one year.
