A Wisconsin angler has been fined $1,250 for fishing for bass on Lake of the Woods when he shouldn’t have.
Court was told that back in June, conservation officers inspected a houseboat and found several bags of skinless smallmouth bass on board.
It was determined Steven Pfeiffer caught a total of eight fish.
However, large and smallmouth bass weren’t allowed to be caught on the lake during that period of time.
