Wisconsin Stuns SIJHL Leading North Stars

Don’t look now but here come the Wisconsin Lumberjacks.

The expansion SIJHL team won their fourth in a row upsetting the Thunder Bay North Stars 5-2 Wednesday at the Fort William Gardens.

Joel Matthews had two goals and an assist for Wisconsin, while Hunter Adams stopped 31 shots for the victory.

Cochenour’s Cody Bruchkowski had an assist for Thunder Bay.

The Lumberjacks are now two points back of fifth place Fort Frances and haven’t lost yet in 2020.
