Work on Housing Units Expected Soon

You should see some construction activity at the old Dryden Weyerhaeuser Learning Centre in about 2-weeks.
The Ontario Aboriginal Housing Service purchased the building last December to build new affordable rental housing units.
Executive Director Don McBain says work is underway inside the old Centre and notes the necessary permits are in place.
He notes they are currently finalizing site plan agreements.
Plans are to create 18-units for off-reserve elders, families and individuals.
An additional 12-new units are scheduled to be constructed behind the Centre.
