Wynne Wants Answers

Premier Kathleen Wynne is vowing her government will find out how the new Nipigon River bridge could falter in the severe cold weather.

Wynne says at this point all they have are questions.

The NDP say the bridge failure shows the Liberals mismanagement of Northern Ontario’s roads and highways.

Meanwhile, Minister of Northern Development Michael Gravelle says the government is undertaking a forensic examination of the structure after it failed.

Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca is expected in the City this week to examine the bridge site. (File photo)
