We haven’t seen temperatures like this in 17-years.
The month of July was below average at just under 16-degrees across Northwestern Ontario.
(Average for July is above 18-degrees)
Ear Falls was the coldest at 14.5-degrees.
CKDR Meteorologist Bill Laidlaw adds we had lot’s of rain days but precipitation was below or at normal across the Region, with the exception of Red Lake.
Laidlaw says there are some indications that August will show signs of improvement.
