Young Bear Cub Stuck in Uncomfortable Spot

Nuisance Bears continue to be a problem this Summer.
A young bear grabbed the attention of several on-lookers last week when it climbed up a tree in Dryden.
In Sioux Lookout, several bears were reported in a residential area on Friday.
A young cub had a mayonnaise jar stuck on its head.
An OPP officer approached the bear and wrestled the jar from its head while a second officer kept a watchful eye on the mother bear in the nearby woods.
No one was injured and the young bear appeared to be fine when it ran off into the woods.
