Young Boy Arrested Following Joyride

A Sunday evening joyride through Fort Frances ended up creating a dangerous situation for motorists and Provincial Police.
OPP were alerted of a stolen vehicle from the Seine River First Nation.
About an hour later, the Thunder Bay OPP Detachment received several traffic complaints involving the vehicle in question.
Police located the vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed and attempted to stop the driver.
The accused continued to evade police.
Officers were able to contact General Motors OnStar and were able to disable the vehicle ignition.
The boy faces charges of dangerous operation of a vehicle, taking a vehicle without consent, stunt driving and failing to stop for police.
