Youth at DHS Charged

A Dryden High School teacher can be credited with defusing a potentially dangerous situation yesterday.
City Police were called to the school around 3 o’clock to deal with an altercation involving a weapon.
Police say 2-males exchanged words and a short scuffle insued when one of the males pulled a folding knife from his pocket.
A teacher broke up the dispute.
A youth has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
