Youth Education Initiative

Young people in remote areas of Northern Ontario will soon be able to
sign up for an education they might otherwise not get.
Colleges and Training Minister Chris Bentley will launch a $6.2 million plan Monday to meet the goal.
The money will be used to offset the costs of making post-secondary
education available in remote areas.
The training will focus on such areas as forestry, science, medicine,
the public sector and education.
