Tikinagan Family and Youth Services has agreed to set up a four member youth team.
The 30 communities that are represented by Tikinagan voted in favour of the move at the annual chiefs assembly.
The youth team, know as Youth Know, is made up of children who are currently or who were in care.
The role of Youth Know is to share concerns, ideas, and provide a vision for themselves.
The team will also have opportunities to engage with other youth in care.
