A couple of points for Dryden players this weekend despite a pair of losses for the Kenora Under-18 ‘AAA’ Thistles.
Kenora fell on home ice 2-1 and 7-4 to the Yellowhead Chiefs.
Peter Zilkalns and Brandon Gustafson both picked up an assist in the series, their first points of the young season.
The Thistles record is now 0-4.
They look to hit the win column October 15 in Winnipeg against the Bruins.
