1 Bear Down

Dryden Police had to shoot a wayward bear in the Pronger Park area around 9:30 last night.
Officers have been dealing with several nuisance bear reports but most of the critters have been eluding the law.
Police remind homeowners to secure all garbage and take any ripe fruit off trees in order to cut down on bear visits.
