1 Dead After Boating Incident In Whiteshell Park

An 82-year-old Winnipeg man is dead following a boating mishap in Whiteshell Provincial Park.
The RCMP say two men went out fishing yesterday morning around 8:00 near Lamprey Falls.
As they tried to anchor their boat, they both fell out.
Both men were wearing a life-jacket at the time, but the 82 year old man stopped breathing as he tried to make it to shore.
The Mounties say he couldn’t be revived.
The name of the deceased is not being released.
