TransCanada Pipeline is continuing to preach the Energy East project.
During an open house in Kenora Spokesperson Grady Semmens noted they are happy to answer questions about environmental safety.
Semmens says they have received lots of support in the region because of the possible economic benefits, such as jobs for local communities.
Semmens adds that they plan to submit a application on the project to the National Energy Board this fall.
The open house was held at the Best Western Lakeside Inn last night.
