The $100,000 public sector club has been released by the Provincial Government as required by law.
Those in the health care field were well represented with Regional
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Pete Sarsfield pulling in a $170,000 salary.
At the Dryden Regional Health Centre last year, Andrew Skene and
Wade Petranik made over $100,000, while 4-officials with
the Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre in Sioux Lookout made the list.
In the education field, 10-administors and principals with the
Public School Board made over $100,000 as did 2-officials with the Catholic Board.
The biggest wage-earner on the City of Dryden payroll was Manager
Arie Hoogenboom who brought in $104,000.
However, that all paled in comparison to Ontario’s top wage earner in
the public sector, Hydro One President Tom Parkinson who recorded a
$1.1-million salary last year.
