$100,000 + Salary Club Released

Doctors, Lawyers and School Board officials led the list of the
highest paid public servants in the Kenora District last year.
The Province released the 2006 public sector wage report Friday and it
shows the top paid civil servant was Dr. Kerry McDonald, who is the
Pathologist at Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora.
He earned $314,000 last year.
Dr. Pete Sarsfield, the Region’s Chief Medical Officer of Health saw
his salary jump to $201,000.
23-officials and school principals with the Keewatin-Patricia District
School Board joined the $100,000 club.
2-City of Dryden staff members also cracked the list.
