The Dryden Renewable Energy Corporation is getting $100,000 from the Province to explore the feasibility of a 5-megawatt solar park in Hatch’s Field.
Minister of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry Michael Gravelle says this project falls under the Government’s clean-energy plan.
Gravelle says the project could bring significant economic and energy generation benefits to the community.
He stresses the Province is behind the project as it moves forward.
Gravelle can’t say when the Province will announce the next round of approved projects.
