Get your motorcycles ready!
The Alzheimer Society of Kenora-River is back with their 11th Annual Ride For Memories.
It’s Saturday, August 24th and starts at 8:00am in Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances.
The ride will finish up in Dryden with a steak dinner and awards ceremony. It’s being held at the Royal Canadian Legion.
Acting Executive Director Rosanna Tomashowski says the goal this year is to raise $50,000 which will go to support people across the region living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related diseases.
Tomashowski says so far 60-riders have signed up, but more are expected to jump on board.
Early bird registration is $20 until July 29th, and goes up to $25 after that date.
To register, visit www.alzheimerkrr.com or call 1-800-682-0245.
