Confederation College Seeks Host Community

There’s talks about a Northwestern Ontario community hosting a float plane base for Confederation College.
President Jim Madder says they’re looking for an area where cottagers won’t mind the air activity. Previously, nearby cottagers have complained about the planes flying over head.
Madder says there has been interest from communities across Northwestern Ontario about hosting the base. Typically, four planes are run at any one time and the selected area must have supports for the aircraft and faculty.The next float plane program will start in June next year.
