A sexual assault investigation involving firearms has resulted in 15 charges against a 59-year old Kejick Bay man.
Lac Seul Police have arrested Eric Everson of Kejick Bay.
Among the 15 charges, Everson is charged with sexual assault, assault with a weapon and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
On October 2 police began an investigation into a sexual assault and forcible confinement incident reported in the community.
On October 5 the Lac Seul Police Service got a warrant to search a home in Kejick Bay in relation to the investigation.
During the search, a loaded firearm and ammunition was found by Police.
Everson is being held in custody for a bail hearing on Tuesday, October 6.
Members of the Lac Seul Police Service are continuing their investigation, and believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
