Provincial Police in Kenora have laid charges following the lock down of all Kenora schools on Tuesday.
Police received a call around 10 in the morning about a man with a firearm in the trail system in the north end of the community.
OPP say two people were arrested shortly after the call.
Police located a pistol style pellet gun around 1:15 and the lockdowns were lifted.
OPP say a 17-year-old male youth has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
