The Progressive Conservative’s at Queen’s Park are demanding action from the Liberal government over school safety.
Lisa MacLeod is concerned some schools in the province aren’t locking their doors during school hours while there’s continuing job action by members of the Elementary School Teachers.
MacLeod says the problem requires immediate action and notes it must be resolved by the end of the week.
Education Minister Liz Sandals says she’s reached out to the Federation to ask for its cooperation on the matter.
She notes it’s a work in progress.
