Dryden Police are reporting a distraction theft at the Walmart parking lot.
Police say on Wednesday they received the report of the theft that occurred between 3:00 and 3:30 pm.
Police say the victim reported being approached by a man and a woman, both of Eastern Descent speaking poor English.
Dryden Police then say the man engaged in conversation with the victim while the woman took the victim’s purse from the cart and the two suspects left the area very quickly. The victim also reported that the entire encounter happened very quickly.
Police say the man is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, shaved head and 1-2 day stubble on his face and has an average build. The woman is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall with an average build, wearing grey pants and a grey shirt.
