Canada Post says its still trying to find out why duplicate ballots
were sent out to about 300-homes in Northwestern Ontario for the November
13th Municipal election.
Spokesperson Malcolm French says the duplicates have shown up in
Ignace, Greenstone and for some people who vote-by-mail for the
Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
French says a system is in place to ensure people do not vote more
than once.
He says only about 1% of the ballots sent out by Canada
Post were duplicates.
