2 of 3 Contracts Approved by Province

Four year contracts have been approved for the Northwest Catholic District School Board and the Union’s representing custodians, educational support staff and occasional teachers.
The Provincial Government has approved the deals.
Director of Education Mary-Catherine Kelly says they are still awaiting Ministry of Education approval on the deal reached with Teachers.
The teachers contract includes a 3% wage hike for the 4-year term.
