2 Week Shutdown at Regional Mill

Another mill has been hit with a temporary halt in operations.
Abitibi’s Fort William Paper mill in Thunder Bay is scheduled to be shut
down later this month.
The mill will be idled for two weeks beginning on November 19th.
The 250 effected employees say they’ve been told the work stoppage
comes as a result of not having enough paper orders.
On November 19th, the Dryden Weyerhaeuser Mill will also take a week
of downtime.
