207 Calls, 118 Charges For Dryden, Ignace OPP

It was a busy week for Provincial Police in Dryden and Ignace, with over 200 calls for service.

From Monday June 28 to Sunday July 4 Police responded to 207 calls and laid 118 charges under the Highway Traffic Act and Criminal Code.

Some of the calls Police attended were;

  • Traffic Complaints – 15
  • Police Assistance – 15
  • Animal Complaints – 2
  • Assault – 4
  • Break and Enter- 3
  • Domestic Dispute- 3
  • Impaired/Over 80 – 2
  • Mental Health Act – 3
  • Theft -2
  • Motor Vehicle Collision – 12
  • Marine – 2
  • Trespass to Property – 2
  • Weapons – 1

In their previous report, police responded to 165 calls for service and laid 55 charges.
