The administration office at Onagaming First Nation near Nestor Falls has been damaged by fire.
The blaze broke out at around 8:00 Wednesday morning.
Members of the Onagaming Fire Department were on the scene immediately, along with a member of the Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls Fire Department who just happened to be driving by.
They were joined later by six units and seven other firefighters from Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls
That effort managed to limit the damage to an area where medical services are said to be provided.
No word on what caused the fire.
No injuries are reported.
