COVID Case In Frenchman’s Head

Lac Seul First Nation is announcing one new COVID positive case in Frenchman’s Head.

Contact tracing is underway to identify anyone who may have come in contact with the positive case.

Officials say the situation is being monitored closely and if more cases pop up or the situation intensifies at all, the community will strengthen public health measures.

As of Tuesday there were 35 active cases in Lac Seul First Nation territory.

Chief and Council are strongly recommending everyone follows the stay-at-home order.
