Man And Woman Caught With Meth In Hudson

A traffic stop in Hudson has resulted in the arrest of two people.

Lac Seul Police pulled over a vehicle Friday morning around 7:50 and conducted a search.

Officers found Crystal Meth and a replica handgun along with drug paraphernalia.

Police believe the Crystal Meth was destined for Lac Seul First Nation.

Police say 36 year old Rikki Star Kejick of Frenchman’s Head faces two charges:

1) Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- CDSA section 5(2)
2) Possession of an Imitation Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose- CC section 88

Thirty-six year old Brian Panacheese of Mishkeegogamang faces two charges:

1) Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- CDSA section 5(2)
2) Possession of an Imitation Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose- CC section 88
3) Fail to Comply with Release Order- CC section 145(4)(a)

Panacheese remains in custody.

Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout assisted in the investigation.
