No Regional COVID Cases Today

No COVID-19 cases Saturday in the Northwestern Health Unit catchment area.

This is the second clear day this month with the last zero number coming on the 9th.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit recorded 4 new positives with 25 active cases.

Two cases involved travel outside northwestern Ontario.

Ontario-wide case numbers were 1,794.

Despite the drop in cases the public is still urged to follow public health restrictions.

Today is the first day some outdoor facilities reopen including golf courses, tennis courts and splash pads.
