Big Win For Dryden GM Ice Dogs

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs have opened a key three game homestand with a big win.

The Ice Dogs jumped out to an early 3-1 lead en route to an 8-2 victory over the Wisconsin Lumberjacks Friday night.

Ondrej Bardos got things going for Dryden GM with his first SIJHL goal in his first game.

Overall, Tristan Takats led the way with three goals, while Max Rath added two.

Rachonne Henry and Lang Lee also found the back of the net.

Evan Van Laeken made 27 saves in his league debut for the Ice Dogs.

Dryden GM remains tied with Kam River for third in standings.

The Fighting Walleye outlasted Fort Frances 4-2 last night.

The two teams collide Saturday at 7:30 at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
