Over $5,000 Raised At Vermilion Bay Lions Supper

It was a special Fathers Day in Vermilion Bay in support of a great cause.

The Lions Club hosted a fundraising supper in support of the Ukrainian Refugees and Displaced Persons program.

There were over 165 in-person and takeout meals served.

More than $5,000 was raised.

The Vermilion Bay Lions Raffle draw was also held and the lucky winner was Ron Dennis of Dryden.

He takes home a gazebo, zero-turn lawn tractor, a gas fired fire place, a wood fire place, cooler, a barbeque with accessories, a 5 piece outdoor lounge set and a battery operated weed eater.

The Lions wish to thank the following for their donations: ELD Farms, Suzie Leutschaft, Cloverbelt Country Meats, Quackers, and the members of the Vermilion Bay Lions Club.

Auction items were donated by: Shelly Glowa, Alyson Shute, Helen Grymaloski, Temple Bay Lodge, Propane +, Wilderness Air, Jack and Lou Rhyner and Terry Ollerhead.
