Provincial Police have released some information on a motor vehicle crash that fully closed the Trans-Canada for several hours between Dryden and Shabaqua Corners.
OPP, Northwest EMS and Ignace Fire responded to the two vehicle collision around 11:57 Wednesday night.
It occurred on Highway 17 in Revell Township, west of Ignace.
Emergency services arrived and one person was pronounced dead.
The highway is now open.
