The Red Lake representation came up big for the Kenora Under-18 Thistles in an important win on home ice Wednesday night.
The Thistles defeated the Winnipeg Thrashers 5-4.
Ben Norlock led the local attack with a pair of assists, while Tyson Marion and Justin Gelderland added an assist each.
Balmertown’s Patrick Forsythe stopped 33 shots for the win.
Kenora heads to Brandon this weekend for a two game series.
