It was a successful NORWOSSA Final for the Dryden Eagles Friday, with
the Eagles coming home from Fort Frances with 3-gold medals.
The Senior Girls Basketball team earned their second consecutive trip
to the NWOSSA final with a 21-14 win over the Fort Frances Muskies.
The Eagles will play the Thunder Bay representative at Dryden High
School on Friday and Saturday (16th and 17th).
The Junior Girls also captured gold with a convincing 41-30 victory
over the Kenora Beaver Brae Broncos.
Dryden’s Junior Boys Volleyball club finished first with a 4-sets win
over the Fort Frances Muskies.
The Senior Boys Volleyball final was another classic between
Dryden and Kenora.
The Eagles played one of their best games of the year but dropped a
thrilling 4-sets match to the Broncos.
