Paper Kings Win It All in Thunder Bay

The Dryden Best Western ‘AA’ Paper Kings have been crowned the
2007 Westfort Atom Tournament champions.
The Paper Kings won the Thunder Bay tournament Sunday with a
thrilling 2-1 win over the Neebing Hawks.
Geoff Kitt opened the scoring in the first period and Dryden held on to the
lead until midway through the third when Neebing tied it up.
The two teams couldn’t settle things in overtime and a shootout was
needed.
Kitt, Demi Gardner and Tyler Boone scored for Dryden, with Brady
Desserre stopping 3-Neebing shooters to give the Paper Kings the victory.
Geoff Kitt was named tournament MVP.
